Lightroom Full Edit #4 – Portrait

Lightroom Full Edit #4 – Portrait

In this Lightroom CC tutorial Ed Gregory completes a full Lightroom portrait retouch on a photo from the Photos In Color Community. I absolutely loved editing this portrait in Lightroom. John Shields did a wonderful job in capturing a wonderful portrait photograph and I think the dramatic final result is just fantastic. I show you how to edit portraits in Lightroom with a number of Lightroom techniques for Lightroom portrait editing.

Submit a Photo

If you would like to submit a photo and have the chance to have it edited as a Photos In Color Community edit on the PIC YouTube channel then please follow the guidelines below.

To get the submission upload link please head over to the Photos In Color Facebook Page and send me a private message and I will send you the link. I do this to stop receiving any spam in the upload folder. Your photos MUST:

– RAW image files Only (jpegs will be deleted)
– Have your name as the file (So I can give a shoutout on the channel)
– Maximum 3 images per month (submit more and ALL your submissions will be deleted)

I get hundreds of submissions so I cannot guarantee I will use your image in a video. Photos will NOT be returned to you. the idea is for you to learn new techniques and try it yourself. This is not an editing service.

Nikon D7500

The D7500 can almost be renamed “Nikon D500 lite” due to the 2 bodies sharing a lot of similar key features. Your resolution remains at 20.9MP for both.

Panasonic S1R

The Panasonic Lumix S1R is Panasonic’s attempt to make a splash in the mirrorless camera world. Very similar to the Lumix S1, this camera’s primary focus is to deliver crisp, clean, professional images.
